Hebrews 4:12

       “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. How excited do you get when you’re going to read the Word? Did you know that the Word of God is also a discerner of your thoughts and the intents of the heart? That helps you move farther from sin and closer to God. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16)? You need the Scriptures to make you complete and equipped for every good work. In these two verses there is so much to get you excited about being in the Word of God. Every time you read it, even year after year, you discover something new, and you will notice that you are growing in Christ. If you’re not in the Word daily and excited about it, you miss out on so much, maybe even heaven. Does that excite you a little more?
