1 Corinthians 2:10-11

            “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God”. The Spirit of God communicates the things of God to us. As we look at the passage, we notice that no one knows the things of a man except the spirit of that man. If we want to know those things about the man, we need to get to know the man. The more we know the man, the more things will be revealed to us from that man. It is the same with us knowing God. The more we spend time with God in the Word of God, the more the Spirit of God will reveal to us the things of God. God has prepared special things for those who love Him (v.9) and through the Word of God, the Spirit of God reveals to us that “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:3-4a). Spend time every day with the “Spirit of God”, in the Word of God, and get to know God.
