            “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” The first thing we see here is the Holy Spirit is our Helper. Notice that the H is capitalized here. Our Helper is another person of God just as Jesus is. He has many attributes that are for our benefit and for our growth in Christ Jesus. He is our Helper, Comforter, Intercessor, Counselor, and our Advocate. HE is a gift (Acts 2:38), HE is called the Spirit of Truth (John 14:17), HE is the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:17). He is also our teacher, as we see in today’s verse, But we need to be in the Word in order for Him to teach us, and when our minds are on things above He will also help us remember the things Jesus taught us so we can DO THEM.
