1 Thessalonians 3:13

^“so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.”

            Why is so important to increase and abound in Love? One day the Lord Jesus will be coming back and will be presenting us before the throne of our God and Father. His desire is to do so with our hearts established blameless in holiness. In simpler terms, to present us having truly been set apart from the world with a pure heart. We are to be God’s ambassadors to those on the outside. Do you still hold on to prejudices that you might have grown up with? Were you in any wars that make you hard-hearted against people from that Nation? God is not a lover of any specific people group, and if we are that is very worldly. But “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17) and that is love from a pure heart. If Jesus came back today would He find us still hanging on to worldly views and opinions, or with love from a pure heart?
