John 8:32

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” The truth is what you should be speaking when you are talking to someone. Even if you did something that could blow up in your face if you had to confess it, the truth is what will save you. We are told in Revelation 21:8, there will be no liars in heaven. We are also told, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). There are so many benefits for telling the truth, not only are we forgiven, we are cleansed from ALL our unrighteousness. But first, the Truth needs to get into you so it can come out of you. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the TRUTH, and the Life” (John 14:6). If Jesus is in you, you don’t have to sin anymore, it’s a choice you make. If Jesus is in you, Satan has no more authority over you unless you give it to him, Jesus said all authority has been given to Him, in heaven on earth and under the earth. You see, if you know the Truth, the Truth shall make you free. If you have Jesus, you have the Truth and you have been set free! Are you living in that freedom?
