Titus 2:13-14

            “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” Are you looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ? Go back and see what Jesus is teaching you through His death and resurrection. First, “Denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” (Titus 2:12). Did you catch that? Salvation isn’t just a way of getting to heaven; it’s a way of living in this day and age. Second thing is to understand He gave Himself for you, to redeem you from every lawless deed, and sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4). Third is to purify you for Himself, special people (beyond usual), zealous(desire) good works. Purified, beyond usual, and desiring good works; Would this describe your life since coming to Christ?
