Acts 4:13
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.” This is the way we should be seen by others. We don’t need a seminary degree to be a Christian, the true follower of Christ. When we accepted Christ as our Lord, we received the Holy Spirit. Staying in the Word and prayer is what will make the difference when the trials come against us, and that’s when others will notice that we have been with Jesus. You see, “God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness” (Genesis 1:26a). You’ve heard it said, “like father, like son”, that’s what others should notice about us, that we look like the Father, through the Son Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit in us. Study the Word to see the character and attributes of God the Father and Jesus the Son, then dress in the robe of righteousness they gave us to be here in Their image and likeness. Could others say that you look like your Father?
