Matthew 25:33

“And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.” There are two kinds of believers, the true believer and the make-believer. The true believers are the sheep; they go to church, hear the Word, and respond, bringing forth lasting fruit. The make-believers are the goats; they go to church, hear the Word, and go back to their life with little effort to improve. “Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” Notice the words “shall not” in that verse. Walking in darkness is anything contrary to the Word of God, such as having an intimate relationship with someone you are not married to according to God’s standard, which is one man (male) and one woman (female). It is anything only you know about, and even though you attend church and hear the word, you won’t stop the behavior, which is “walking in darkness”. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart “(Hebrews 4:12). You can be in the word, but is the word in you? Sheep don’t walk in darkness; they have the light of life.
