John 1:1
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Jesus is Holy, Jesus is the Word, Jesus is God! We have become so accustomed to saying the Bible that we don’t read it daily, or do what it tells us to do to transform our lives so we can become holy because our Father is Holy. I can give one reason, it’s the first word on the cover, “HOLY”. When we disregard it as Holy, it becomes just another book. This isn’t just a book or a bunch of books put together, it is God’s means of loving us, renewing us back to our original state of Holiness so we can fellowship with Him. God’s Word is Holy because God is Holy. In Nehemiah, we are told, “For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law” (Nehemiah 8:9). The Word should affect us when we read it or hear it read. We are also told that Jesus is the Word (John 1:14)! If the Word isn’t transforming your life, you’re either not abiding in Him, or it’s not Holy to you. Let’s refer to it as the HOLY BIBLE, and start regarding it as HOLY again! Do you realize the privilege it is to have this HOLY Bible in your hands?
