Romans 5:15

            “But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many”. From Genesis through Revelation the context of the Bible is Redemption. Disobedience and Redemption, Sin and Salvation. Though there were only 2 people on earth (Genesis 2), and though the law wasn’t given until Moses led the Israelites to the Mount Sinai (Exodus 20), sin entered the world and though man tried to cover himself, blood needed to be shed for salvation (Genesis 3:21). The first sin is still the same sin that plagues us today, it is disobedience. The only way to break one of the Ten Commandments is to be disobedient to the Word of God. In the New Testament, the Ten Commandments were divided into two, Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves. The only way to break these is by being disobedient to the Word of God. Because of the disobedience of man, God brought us redemption through His Son, because of the sin of man, Jesus bought our salvation through His blood. Don’t you think it’s time we do our part and start being obedient to the Word of God?
