\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cFor God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind\u201d (2 Timothy 1:7). You don\u2019t need to be scared to witness to anyone if you love them. Get a Godly perspective, see the love God has for them, open your mouth, and let God speak to them through you! Remember where you came from and thank God for the ones He used to give you a life-saving message of His love, mercy, and forgiveness. Remember, the Bible is a sword, and in your hands, it can poke, cut, or dismember. Eve used it in the Garden of Eden against the serpent (Genesis 3:3), but it was ineffective because she used it the wrong way. Peter used it in the Garden of Gethsemane and cut off someone’s ear (Mark 14:47) then they couldn\u2019t hear. Jesus used it correctly and defeated the Devil (Matthew 4). If you\u2019re in the Word daily, reading and praying, you have a sound mind. You have been given a Spirit of power and of love. You already have everything you need to be an effective witness, but you will never be effective unless you use it. Are you using what you have been given?
