Go back and see what Jesus is teaching you through His death and resurrection. First, \u201cDenying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age\u201d (Titus 2:12). Did you catch that? Salvation isn\u2019t just a way of getting to heaven; it\u2019s a way of living in this day and age. Second thing is to understand He gave Himself for you, to redeem you from <strong>every<\/strong> lawless deed, and sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4). Third is to purify you for Himself, special people (beyond usual), zealous(desire) good works.
