\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cFor what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?\u201d This is a good verse to help when witnessing to a non-believer. What a person believes or does not believe has no effect on the truth. There are facts that cannot be denied by what you believe or don\u2019t believe. As a Police Chaplain, I was doing a ride along with an Officer, and while witnessing to him, he stopped me and said he doesn\u2019t believe what I do as we were pulling up to a 4-way stop. I responded by saying his belief wouldn\u2019t change the facts, and proceeded using the 4-way stop as an example telling him I didn\u2019t believe that I had to stop at that intersection because everybody else does. There are several things wrong with what I believe, first, I could get pulled over for not stopping. Second, I could get in an accident. Third, in the accident I or the other person could get hurt or killed, and ultimately there would be a price to pay. My not believing wouldn\u2019t save me, and it could cost me everything! Jesus already paid the price for those who believe<\/em>, a price you couldn\u2019t pay. He responded saying, that was a good illustration and opened his heart to hearing the Gospel and my testimony. Just because a person doesn\u2019t believe, won\u2019t change the facts, and the Bible is all facts, truth, and in it is found the freedom from sin and hell!
