\u201cAnd be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.\u201d In becoming holy children of God, there are some attributes that should be showing in our lives. This verse displays an action of Christ and it was before we became Christians (Romans 5:8 & 10). If Jesus is your LORD and has done this while you were a sinner, you are to show this same kindness and compassion to your brothers and sisters in Christ. Maturity doesn\u2019t come with age it comes with actions. Jesus gave us a beautiful example in John 13:3-15, \u201cJesus, poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples\u2019 feet, and to wipe them<\/em> with the towel with which He was girded. He said to them, \u201cDo you know what I have done to you? <\/a> <\/a>For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. He wasn\u2019t talking about dirty feet, He was talking about your sin and need of forgiveness every day. As He forgives you daily, how can you not forgive someone else who made need to see the Love Christ in you?
