{"id":730,"date":"2026-03-25T01:01:05","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T01:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gettingcloserwithgod.com\/?p=730"},"modified":"2026-03-25T01:01:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T01:01:05","slug":"march25-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gettingcloserwithgod.com\/index.php\/2026\/03\/25\/march25-26\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00a0March25-26"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>1 Corinthians 15:37<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u201cAnd what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain\u2014perhaps wheat or some other&nbsp;<em>grain\u201d.<\/em>&nbsp;You will find grace in the suffering you go through here in this life waiting for your eternal life. Think of your life as a seed that was planted. You are buried under what feels like a ton of dirt, then you begin to crack from the pressure and eventually break. As you begin to apply Scripture to your life, like \u201c\u201cIf anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross&nbsp;daily, and follow Me\u201d (Luke 9:23).&nbsp;I would say denying yourself is where we begin to crack under the dirt, but not yet broken. We also see in 1 Corinthians 15:36 \u201cwhat you sow is not made alive unless it dies\u201d. Unless you die to yourself, you cannot be made alive in Christ. For us, dying to self is the broken seed. When that process is done, sanctification begins and a transformation starts to appear as you go from what you were to what you are becoming.
