\u201cNo one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.\u201d Choices, we have to make them every day. Some of us have to make more choices than others, some choices harder than others. Here is a choice that should be easy for us to make; to serve God. I\u2019m not talking about going to church and serving, I\u2019m talking about our lifestyle. Are you all in, or just doing enough to slip into heaven? Straddling the fence of Heaven and Hell is a dangerous place to be. 1 Kings 18:21 puts it this way, \u201cHow long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is<\/em> God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.\u201d We can exchange Baal for world and make it easier to decide. Either way, but you will still have only one that you will be serving. We are told that in God there is no darkness AT ALL (1John 1:5). A pure mind gives you a pure heart, and a pure heart brings in light and makes room for the Holy Spirit of God to dwell and work in and through you. We are also told to \u201cDraw near to God\u201d (James 4:8), and that will draw you away from anything else.
