Matthew 4:19<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cHe said to them,\u00a0\u201cFollow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.\u201d\u00a0There are so many churches out there, and I know the way to make some of them shut down, using this verse<\/em>. Jesus didn\u2019t say, follow me and I\u2019ll make you showmen. That will take care of the churches that are putting on worldly shows to reach the world. He also didn\u2019t say, follow me, and I\u2019ll make you salesmen. That will make some more shut down who hire elegant speakers to make money for their church. Jesus said, \u201cfollow me, and I will make you fishers of men\u201d, which leaves the churches that PREACH the WORD! Going to a God-fearing, Christ-centered, Bible-believing Church changes us into fishers of men. Being in the Word, growing in the Word, and living the Word is what truth is, and that\u2019s what people are looking for, truth!
