Psalm 31:3<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cFor You\u00a0are<\/em> my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name\u2019s sake, Lead me and guide me.\u201d When you do something, whether it is good or bad, do you ever think of the consequences of your walk or if you are profaning the name of the Lord? When we are not in the Word (which is a Light to our path), nor led by the Spirit (which is our guide) as we walk this Christian life, we do what is right in our own eyes (Proverbs 21:2a). But when we \u201cObserve and obey all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do\u00a0what is good and right in the sight of the\u00a0Lord your God (Deuteronomy 12:28) there is a difference in our walk. Do you know how important it is to have Him lead and guide us and that it is for His name\u2019s sake? Everything we do will either cause others to see a Holy God or cause them to blaspheme His name making us look like hypocrites. \u201cI,\u00a0even I,\u00a0am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins\u201d (Isaiah 43:25) and, \u201cI write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name\u2019s sake\u201d (1 John 2:12).
