1 John 4:18<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThere is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.\u201d Fears depend on our finances, relationships, careers health, and world events. Our fears are real and affect each person differently. There\u2019s only so much room in our hearts, and when fear comes in it pushes God out. When God is pushed out torment starts to set in. It not only affects our hearts but our minds as well. What are we to do? We are told in verse today that perfect love casts out fear. God is Love (John 4:16), and there is no other perfect love than God. As we give God our whole hearts, meditate on His Word, and spend time in prayer, we are being filled with that perfect love, and fear is pushed out. Jesus prayed to our Holy Father saying to Him to \u201cSanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth\u201d (John 17:17b), therefore we act upon His Holy Word with faith, and that Perfect Love returns in our hearts and fear is removed. We can\u2019t live with God and fear in our hearts, so choose God because fear won\u2019t change your circumstances, but God can.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
