1 Corinthians 14:1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cPursue love\u201d. What are you pursuing? People pursue things in life like fame, fortune, and happiness, but for Christians, we are to pursue love. Without love, everything we do in Jesus’s name is useless. In 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 we see that without love we are noise makers, that become nothing, and in the end, gain nothing. We see what Jesus says about it in Matthew 7:22-23 \u201cMany will say to Me in that day, \u2018Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?\u2019\u00a0And then I will declare to them, \u2018I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!\u2019\u201d Love has everything to do with all that is called godly. \u201cAbove all things have fervent love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sin\u201d (1 Peter 4:8). \u201cHe who does not love does not know God for God is love\u201d (1 John 4:8).
