\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cBut he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit\u00a0with Him.\u201d I love this verse. It takes away any doubt that someone can say, \u201cyou can be in Christ and live in a sinful lifestyle\u201d, especially a lifestyle of sexual immorality, YOU CANNOT<\/strong>. \u00a0It also throws out the theory of living a sinful lifestyle trusting grace to get you into heaven. We are told in Romans 13:14, that we should \u201cput on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to\u00a0fulfill its lusts<\/strong>\u201d, and in Ephesians 4:24 \u201cthat you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness<\/strong>.\u201d It is impossible to be one in spirit with the Lord and live in the flesh fulfilling its lusts. This is proven by our verse for today packed right between 1 Corinthians 16:15-16 which clearly tells us about our bodies and sexual immorality, \u201cDo you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make\u00a0them members of a harlot? Certainly not!\u00a0Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body\u00a0with her? For\u00a0\u201cthe two,\u201d He says,\u00a0\u201cshall become one flesh\u201d, and verse 18, \u201cFlee sexual immorality<\/strong>. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body\u201d. There is a whole list of what sexual immorality is, but I will simplify it so there is no mistake on who is on the list of the\u201csexually immoral\u201d. It is anyone that is not male, man, husband married to a female, woman, wife according to God\u2019s Authority of Biblical marriage as shown by Jesus in Mark 10:6, \u201cfrom the beginning of the creation, God\u00a0\u2018made them male and female<\/strong>.\u2019\u00a0\u2018For this reason a man<\/strong> shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife<\/strong>\u201d. What reason? God\u2019s plan for sexual intimacy which is only between \u201cmale (man) and female (woman) and only as husband and wife. Anyone that is not in a BIBLICAL MARRIAGE<\/strong> is on that list of those who are sexually immoral, and the sexually immoral will not be in Heaven (Revelation 21:8).
