       “and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Here is a powerful verse to help you live a godly life while in this world of darkness. It’s the only reason you need to keep moving forward and upward with integrity in the faith you profess as a Christian. Why? Because the Son of God loved you and gave Himself for you! That bloodied, torn body, those nail holes and that rough splintered cross He went on, was Him showing you how much He loved you. Yes, you must live in the flesh, but you don’t have to give into the flesh as you once did when you were walking in the darkness that you now see around you. With so much going on around us and fighting for our attention in this electronic age we live in, living out your faith is crucial as co-workers, neighbors and family who are watching will see you are really all in as a Christian. We are told, “But sanctify (giving HIM the primary place of adoration, exaltation, and worship) the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you”(1 Peter 3:15), so when someone does ask you, these words should pop right out of your mouth, because “He loves me and gave Himself for me”! Have you sanctified the Lord God in your heart? Are you all in?
