1 Peter 2:9b

“that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” How you live and speak should be a praise to Him everywhere you go, or even if you are alone. I would say even more important when you are alone to do what you want. Why? Because you were called out of darkness. We saw last week, “If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth” (1 John 1:6). You cannot be in two places at the same time, nor can you walk in light and in darkness at the same time either. You have to make a choice between heaven and hell, between light and darkness. The darkness will pull you back into the world, and being a friend with the world makes you and enemy of God (James 4:4). It is your choice because He “called you out of the darkness and into His marvelous light”, but He will not make you come there, or stay there. If you are in the light there is no darkness, and if you’re in the darkness there is no light. He didn’t just call you into light, He called you into “HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT”! Your time here may be shorter than you think! Are you walking in His Marvelous Light?
