1Peter 1:4

       “to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you”. Praise God for the living hope we have and the blessing we will receive because of HIS abundant mercy toward us. We won’t receive this inheritance because someone died, but because HE LIVES. Our inheritance is also incorruptible and will not be subject to death, as our corruptible will put on incorruption, and we will put on immortality (1 Corinthians 15:53-54). This is also proof of the “Living Hope” of our eternal life. Our inheritance will also be pure, untouchable by sin or become sinful, nor will it shrink away. Take note of the last phrase here, “reserved in heaven for you”. It is guarded by God in heaven, where no one or nothing can touch it, ever. It is for you, and only you, and each of us has our own living inheritance guarded and waiting for us. “We have a living hope, and a living inheritance and a living Guardian of it all. If you know someone who may have a false hope of heaven that will lead to the wrath of God, help them to find “Living Hope” in Christ Jesus, and an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and does not fade away.
