Isaiah 55:9

        “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.” We have so many things (especially here in the US) distracting us from thinking about things above that we don’t have higher ways or even higher thoughts. Even in church, our thoughts seem to travel elsewhere. New technology has certainly gotten the best of us. I believe God is trying to get our attention to have higher thoughts, leading to higher ways in our lives. He is training us to be holy children who can, by our lives, lead others to the Cross and salvation. We are told to “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:2). When was the last time you thought about things above? Through His death on the Cross we have victory over our past and our sins, in His Resurrection we have victory over Satan and Death. This Easter celebration, regain your focus and start having higher thoughts and higher, holier ways.
