Genesis 3:9
“Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”” One man, one command. “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17). It’s no wonder why there is so much sin in the world, one man couldn’t obey one command, one million men couldn’t keep the 10 Commandments. This led us to the ultimate plan, God’s only plan always was, Salvation through the Blood of Christ. All can come, but not many do. Some come, but not with a sincere heart; some without a heart of gratitude, yet others come seeking what they can get. Some come still stuck in something they shouldn’t be? “By the fear of the Lord one departs from evil” (Proverbs 16:6b). Is the Lord God calling you saying “where are you”? Knowing what Jesus went through for your salvation, are you in a place where Jesus would look back at what He went through for you and say, “It was well worth it”?
