John 12:48
“He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.” Is the Word of God important to you? God’s Word is not only “alive and powerful sharper than any two-edged sword” (Hebrews 4:12), it’s as relative today as it was in the beginning, when “God said” (Gen. 1:3). I’ve talked to people that say you can’t believe the Bible because it’s over 2000 years old, or that it was written by men. Really? People believe in evolution. Where did they get that information from, I wonder? There are only 3 types of believers, the non-believer, the make believer, and the true believer. The true believer will be “transformed from glory to glory just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 3:18). The Word of God can change the non-believer and the make-believer into a true believer but, it will never change either if they aren’t in the Word daily. The question tonight isn’t what do you do with the Word, but what does the Word do with you?
