2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” How many became a New Creation, but have continued to go the same old way? It’s funny how Christ erased our past and we continue on in it as if nothing changed. What should have been a clean slate and the beginning of a new story just turns into a new chapter of the old story. I’m sure we can recount our new beginning, we ask Jesus into our heart and WOW, I am now a child of God, I’m clean and I feel so good. Then, you start telling others about your experience and before you know it, you’re not excited anymore because they weren’t excited for you, but laughed. Before you know it Satan starts telling you how much you have failed and you believe him. The problem lies within us. We haven’t really believed we have been set free. Make it a reality in your life and start writing a new story. You are being transformed into the image of Christ. When Satan comes with his lies, tell him you know the truth, it’s paid in full, cleansed and covered with the Blood. Isn’t it time to start your new story, one without Satan and his lies, just you and God, and what He is doing with you now?
