Psalm 16:8 “I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.” Where do you have the Lord set? Are you moved by things going on in your life, or the life of a loved one? If you are moved when something happens in life, the Lord may not be where you should have Him. He should be set always before you, not just in the morning, or bedtime, but all day long. The right hand is a place of strength, and it’s not only where the Lord should be in our lives, but who He is, our strength through the day. We too should have the Lord always before us so we can proclaim as David did, that “God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect” (2 Samuel 22:33). We don’t need words to proclaim it with words either, others will see that light shine in you when bad news comes and you’re not moved by it. Do you have the Lord set always before you? Is He at your right hand keeping you from being moved?
