Ephesians 6:14-18

       “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints”. Have you noticed as we went through putting on the Armor of God, the things we do, and the things God does? We are to walk in truth, holiness, and peace, in constant prayer. Then as we live out our faith (because without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)), God becomes our shield. When we put on the helmet of salvation and set our minds on things above God keeps the enemy from getting into our heads, and by abiding in the Word of God, He teaches us how to use the Sword of the Spirit the right way. He defends us, protects us, and changes us into the image of His Son. STAND THEREFORE! And give GOD the GLORY!
