Job 19:25a

“For I know that my Redeemer lives”. Do we understand that statement when we go through the tribulations that Jesus promised we would go through? (John 16:33). Our verse today doesn’t say my Redeemer lived, but He LIVES. You are not alone in your situation you just have to come to Him with thanksgiving, not for what we’re going through but for what it is producing in us. He redeemed you, so you can rest assured He is going to see you through it. When He ascended to Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to sustain our lives, to magnify who He is, and to give God the glory. Job didn’t die in his misery, he lived in his faith in God with his integrity intact, knowing and professing “that my Redeemer lives and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God” (Job 19:25-26). Do you have the confidence of Job when you are going through trials?
