Psalm 119:165        “Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.” There are a few things to note here before we go further. The first thing is to understand that when this was written all they had was the Law. We can now safely say “Great peace have those who love Your Word, And nothing causes them to stumble.” The next thing is just as important, “Great peace”, not just some peace or a little peace, but Great peace, you know, “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7) (Bold print mine).  Finally, “nothing causes them to stumble”. Are you still stuck in some sin you can’t get rid of? It was once said, and I don’t remember by whom, “the Word will keep you from sin or sin will keep you from the Word”. We are not to be “conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). So many nowadays are trying to keep up with the newest electronics, constantly upgrading TVs, phones, computers, and tablets, but how many are upgrading their Bibles. When was the last time you got a new Bible? How much time do you spend in the Word and on your knees praying and working on your relationship with God, compared to your time on apps and TV? Do you have Great peace?
