Romans 5:1
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”. Have you ever heard somebody ask, “Have you made peace with God?” This verse should pop into your mind. It’s only by the first part of this verse that it is possible to have peace with God. When you see the word “Therefore”, go back and find out what it’s there for. Romans 4:23-25, Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification. You are justified because you believe in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross because of your offenses, and is also the reason He was raised to life again. Confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, has given you life in His name. Jesus said, “He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25&26). This is life in His Name! If you’ve been born again, you have peace with God, have new life, are now eternal, and you will never die! Do you believe? Share with someone who doesn’t.
