Psalm 135:6         “Whatever the Lord pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places.” When anyone asks me “How’s it going?”, I answer, “It’s going God’s way”. Think about that for a moment, because that’s what our verse for today is saying. No matter where you are or what you are going through, God’s will is going to be accomplished, and if you don’t believe me ask Jonah. God wanted Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach a message of repentance to them, but Jonah didn’t want to go there so he got on a boat going in the opposite direction. God used the seas and the giant fish in the sea to get Jonah back on course (read the book of Jonah). The disciples were told to get in the boat and go to the other side and on their way, they encountered a storm and were terrified, Jesus said “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.   Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.   When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret” (Matthew 14:31b-34). God also used an Angel from heaven to tell Mary she would give birth to Jesus and she replied “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38). When God tells you to do something, are you going to take flight, go in Fear or in Faith, and trust Him?
