John 14:4

“And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Do you know someone who’s not sure of their salvation? This may help them find their way. Way back when I was learning to drive, I was told, that before you go anywhere, make sure you know the way there. Many today think they will get to Heaven but really don’t know the way. Some say all roads lead to heaven, but that makes as much sense as saying all roads lead to Key West. You can take I-10 from Jacksonville Florida to Santa Monica, California but you will never get to Key West you’ll get farther away from it. Some say they will get there because they are good, but according to the Bible, no one is good, all have sinned (Romans 3:23). You may believe you have lived a good life but if you lied only once, or stole something like a pencil or a penny, or had a bad thought, you’ve sinned. Do you know where you are going? Jesus said “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2b-3). The Bible is the map, and Jesus is the only way to the Father in Heaven (John 14:6). You just need to study and follow the map (Bible), and you will see where you are going, the way to get there and know you will arrive there safely.
