Psalm 19:14

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord”.  When was the last time you prayed this? When was the last time you even thought about it? Would you say that the words of your mouth are acceptable in His sight? As Christians, we should always be thinking and saying the right things. We’ve heard the saying, “garbage in garbage out” Well, that will eventually happen by giving away the make-believer in the congregation. You can’t speak the Word if you’re not in the Word enough to have the Word in you. We are told to “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers” (Ephesians 4:29). What do you think about most? Would you say it’s acceptable in the sight of the Lord? God already knows what’s in your heart and in your thoughts. He also knows the words that will come from your mouth before you speak them. Have you given all of your heart to God not holding anything back? Ask Him to show you if there is any part of it you haven’t surrendered and then surrender it to Him. Pick a verse every day and meditate on it to help you renew your mind. Always make it your aim whether you are around others or alone “to be well pleasing to Him” (2 Corinthians 5:9c). I ask again, are the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart acceptable in His sight?
